Map what happens today
Take one booking and write every step from the new reservation to the post-stay report. Who copies data, checks payment, sends access or assigns housekeeping? Wherever the answer is always the same, automation may help.
Connections create the value
A separate lock, calendar and payment provider still need a person if they do not exchange information. Value appears when booking, payment, messages, access, housekeeping, rates and documents become one process.
Automate the work guests never see
- housekeeping and maintenance tasks,
- payment and balance status,
- invoices, receipts and reports,
- rates and channel availability,
- heating, energy and device scenes.
Good automation needs a plan B
Internet outages, undelivered messages, flat batteries and failed payments each need a response. The system should surface the problem early and tell the right person what to do.
Implement one stage at a time
Start with the process that consumes the most time or creates the most errors. Test it on a handful of bookings, fix the exceptions and only then connect the next stage. The property keeps running and the team understands the change.
